[/size]Appearance: Perhaps a larger cat for the Mahi, but still small by feline standards, Graham is all whipcord muscle. Very lean and slim, he has a narrow, flexible build designed for climbing more than anything else. He does not have the brawn of many larger cats, but he is very agile. His fur is thicker than an African leopard's, adapted to a colder climate, and the color of it is a very rich yellow-gold, with inky rosettes. In the winter, the coloring is slightly dulled, and in the summer it becomes very vivid. His most startling trait has to be his eyes, however, which are not the typical gold of a feline. Rather, they are a grayish green, something unique to many Amur leopards.
Height: 28 in
Weight 103 lbs
Battle wounds? Various, mostly hidden by fur. Some nicks on his face and ears.
Personality: Graham appears to be an elegant, beautiful creature. But that's before he opens his mouth. "Blunt" is an understatement, and "severe" does not begin to cover his sense of humor. Never at a lack of smart remarks, Graham is renowned for his mockery of others and his brutal honesty. He tells other's what he thinks of them, without softening the blows, and he often enjoys the emotional reactions he receives in response. He is well-known for baiting larger cats into some form of conflict, or temper tantrums, and finding amusement in it. He often bites off more than he can chew, however.
As an individual, he has a streak of mischief that runs a mile wide, and Graham's pranks are not always harmless. His sense of "fun" can easily mean the misery of another cat, and although he is not as severe as a Vhenu pride member, he is not seen as kind. But he also lacks better sense, and while other's know when too much is too much, Graham continues onward, surging pass boundaries and common sense.
Beyond his sass, Graham is a rather aloof creature. He generally does not show other's much, aside from his humor, vanity, and insolence. Beneath this, however, is a sentimental creature with a gruff exterior. Those he holds dear he holds very, very dear indeed, and once befriended (or tolerated) Graham is a good conversationalist and loyal friend. It only takes time to get past his coarse outside, so to speak.
However, he is also prone to self-deprecating humor and rather self-destructive behavior, as it goes. He often condemns himself to solitude or guilt for past deeds.
History Graham was the child of a brief affair, and he was left to be raised by a mother with a lack of a father involvement. When he asked later, Liefa (his mother) claimed that his sire was a Vhenu tramp, and that is what gave Graham his darker streaks.
But his sister was all sunshine, as it went. Lila, as a child, commanded the attention of his mother and of the other pride members. She was charismatic and bright and generally much kinder than her brother, who suffered the scorn of many weary adults. They saw Graham as trouble.
When they were relatively young, Graham's mother disappeared. He assumes that she was killed by other felines, or in an accident of some kind. Regardless, he and Lila were left to their own devices, for the remainder of their childhood. They went down two very different paths. While Lila became a social butterfly, Graham became a recluse, becoming aloof and learning to use his sarcasm to keep other's at bay. He wanted to be alone.
Lila eventually decided to leave the Mahi, and joined the Aogut. Graham remains with them out of some old loyalty, although he is often prone to bouts of loneliness or bad humor. After all, cats are rather fickle.
