Appearance:
Imara is average sized for a Bengal Tiger, being slightly larger on the female scale, which made her an ample fighter. Her forepaws and shoulders are compact, being deadly and powerful in their blows. She has a long body, with an equally long tail, used for balance. She has retained all of her teeth to this day. Imara is quite picky about hygiene, and so her teeth are still pearly white and her claws remain sharp and free of flesh and dirt. It is a strange habit she has, but Imara does groom more frequently than any other cat in the pride.
Imara's fur is long and plush, being a rich, golden honey color. This differs from the usual orange and russet fur of her species, making her stand out. The black stripes against her glowing fur are vivid and dark, tracing her figure and aiding in her camouflaging. Imara's eyes are a pale yellow, like the summer sun reflecting off clear water. They are watery in color, as if all the vividness has drained out of them. But they are lovely and unique, just like the stripes on her body. Each of her four paws are decked out in snowy white, as is her chest and stomach. Her ears are rounded into gentle curves, one ear is black while the other is white on the back, another unique trait. Her face is scarred down the right side, where two jagged cuts run across her eye and cheek. This happened during a fight with a large male tiger, when he clamped his canine fangs over the side of her face, trying to pull out her eye. She retains her eyesight, but is ashamed by her ruined face.

Personality:
Imara was once a fearless, snappy she-cat. She was one of Vhenu's greatest and most respected fighters, for her bravery and ferociousness. She enjoyed killing and the respect and awe it gained her. She had the pride's respect, but not friendship, since she was prickly and rude even to them. However, after her 'accident', her whole personality changed.
Imara doesn't even belong in Vhenu now, that's what most say. She is shy and timid. Her personality completely reversed. She retired from fighting, not seeing the worth of it, not enjoying so much death. She proves herself as a hunter now and enjoys it, as that old part of her still remains, though deeply hidden. Make no mistake, Imara still has quite a sharp tongue when she feels the need to defend herself, but she is no longer driven by blood lust and rage. She is spunky and unique in her personality, being quirky and amusing to be around.
She has fallen in love with cubs and one day having some of her own. She has witnessed love but never felt it for herself, and feels a part of her missing because of this. She never let anyone else into her life, and is finding it quite difficult now.
History
Imara was borne of Nutaka and Haldar, two Bengal tigers from the Vhenu pride. Her father was a much respected fighter, covered with scars that told of his battles. Her mother Nutaka was a permanent queen, taking up residence with the others even when she wasn't expecting herself. She was an older female and had decided that fighting was not for her, caring for instead, the younger generations and their mothers. She helped many new queens along with their cubs as well as her own.
Imara usually felt jealousy over this, and began to resent the other cubs who were 'stealing' her mother away. Her brother Iriko however, seemed to revel the solitude and independence he gained from it. It wasn't that Nutaka neglected her own cubs, it was just that she spread herself thin, and had less one-on-one time with them. Because of this, both cubs grew up learning not to rely on anyone for survival, since their father was always away fighting as well. Their one other sibling Riku however, craved attention and would follow Nutaka around wherever she went, acting like a miniature queen herself, befriending the other cubs and sticking around as her mother's shadow. Because Riku made the effort, she was quite close with Nutaka, as well as having many other friends. It was clear from an early age that she would follow in her mother's paw steps, fighting was not for her.
Imara's training was brutal, and it hammered out any kindness left in her. Once she learned to harness her jealously and resentment, to fight with it, she flew through her training with no small abundance of praise. Iriko did similarly well, though it was obvious that he retained his soul and independence, when Imara had none.
The day Imara became a full fighter was the day her father died, killed by a lion that had been cast out of the pride. Her father had exposed the lion as a traitor and a murderer, so it was on him that the outcast took his revenge. Imara caught him in the act and faught him off, more for herself than her father. She chases away the lion, but not before her father died. As a parting gift, Imara tore out the male's right eye with a well-aimed paw. The outcast, Lunai, swore his eternal revenge. Cliche, and not enough to bother Imara, who took no notice of it.
She regretted this a year later, when Lunai re-appeared with a venegance. He attacked Imara when she was out with Riku, who was collecting herbs for the prophet, since that was the sort of kind-hearted thing she did. They were walking past a fast flowing river that bordered the outskirts of their territory, dropping down into a gorge. The river had risen and was flowing faster than ever with the aid of the melting winter snow. Imara was only along because she knew what a scatter-brain her sister was, and she didn't want her getting lost. It was here that Lunai attacked, shoving Riku out of the way to get to Imara. She had not been expecting the attack, and was thrown back by his force. Pain flared in her head as she felt his canines digging in, trying to tear out her eye, like she had his. Now it was here that Riku became a true Vhenu warrior, seeing her sister in danger the usually soft-hearted tiger leapt forward with a roar, sending herself and Lunai flying in a messy bundle of paws and teeth. The force of the impact sent them both into the overflown river, where they were swept along by its current.
Imara searched for her sister, running along the bank, though she was half blinded at the time. She saw Riku, just as she tigress went tumbling into the rushing gorge below, Lunai just behind. Her enemy was defeated that day, but not by Imara. After that, everything was a blur for a time. Her face was bandaged up and forever scarred, though her eye was intact. In honor of her sister, Imara began picking up some of her habits and personality. She would spend time with her mother, helping the queens, and completely retired from being a fighter, declaring she would no longer be the cause of death. She became kinder, though that change happened over time, and with this kinder personality came the repairing of her relationship with both Iriko and Nutaka.
